COP 2346 Data Management and Job Control Language — 3 Credit Hours

Prerequisite: COP 2120. This course covers data organization, access methods and job control language that are relevant to the mainframe environment. The use of utility programs as components of an application system to build and maintain files will also be covered. Topics will include an introduction to databases and database management systems. Four contact hours: three lecture hours, one laboratory hour. A.S., A.A.S.
