COP 2742 Intermediate Oracle DBA — 4 Credit Hours

Prerequisites: COP 2702 and COP 2741 or verifiable Oracle database work experience. This is an intermediate level course in Oracle database administration. This class is a lecture/lab course designed to be taught in a computer lab. A series of database projects using Oracle software is designed to build familiarity with using Oracle Backup and Recovery, and Oracle Performance Tuning. The objectives of this course are to increase under standing of Oracle database administration, and to build a working knowledge and hands-on familiarity with modern data base administration procedures. Four contact hours (lecture/lab combination). A.S., A.A.S.
