Prerequisites: CGS 1071 and CGS 1824 and CDA 1302 and CDA 1403. Corequisite: COP 2347. This course is the first of two courses teaching Linux systems administration (COP 2341 and COP 2347). It is designed for Networking Services Technology majors. Students learn how to install, configure, and administer the Linux operating system on a workstation computer connected to a network. Although this course is not a certification preparation course, it may include related Linux certification material. Students taking this course should also register for COP 2347 at the same time.
