Prerequisite: COP 1000. A first course in programming in the Microsoft.NET environment. Students will learn to use the Visual Studio.NET development tools. The course will present elements of the Visual Basic.NET language, including GUI components, menus, loops, selection structures, arrays and file input and output. Students will also be exposed to the basics of object-oriented programming, as well as graphics and animation. Students will develop their skills by writing programs of their own during the progression of the course. Four contact hours: three lecture hours, one laboratory hour. A.S., A.A.S.
