Workforce Credit Certificate Courses
This course introduces the student to robotics and its use in manufacturing. Emphasis is placed on the workings of the mechanical manipulators and how the spatial positions, orientation, and frames of a robots manipulator are computed. The student will also be exposed to the method of programming an industrial robot for use with the Florida Community College at Jacksonville water bottling plant. The course will also cover various robotic nomenclature, classifications, applications, input/ output sensor interfacing and work cell design.
