 Courses College Credit Courses OPT 1330 Introduction to Vision Care — 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: Acceptance in the Ophthalmic Technician program. Corequisite: OPT 2090. This course introduces the student to the field of ophthalmic medical assisting. Introduction to basic ophthalmic skills including history taking, visual acuity assessment, ocular motility and neuro-ophthalmic assessment. Basic ophthalmic terminology, documentation and the psychology of the patient are presented. Three contact hours. A.S., A.A.S.
