 Courses College Credit Courses OPT 2287 Ophthalmic Medical Practicum III — 8 Credit Hours Prerequisites: OPT 1110, OPT 1210, OPT 1330, OPT 1150, OPT 2090, OPT 2222, OPT 2223, OPT 2350, OPT 2351, OPT 2375, OPT 2375L, OPT 2500, OPT 2800L, OPT 2801L, OPT 2802L, OPT 2940 and OPT 2941. This course is an externship in an approved ophthalmological practice. The student will build upon a working knowledge of the duties and responsibilities of the ophthalmic technician in a medical office. Emphasis will be placed on surgical assisting, clinical supervision and advanced diagnostic testing. Twenty-four contact hours (practicum). A.S., A.A.S.
