Corequisites: OPT 1110, OPT 1210 and OPT 2800L. The course introduces the student to the general concepts of disease and the processes by which diseases evolve. The specific disorders that may occur in various parts of the eye and ocular adnexa are discussed in detail. The student will become familiar with diagnostic and therapeutic medications used in the vision care, and be able to locate ophthalmic and systemic medications in the Physician's Reference.
