Prerequisites: OPT 1110, OPT 1210, OPT 1330, OPT 1150, OPT 2090, OPT 2222, OPT 2375, OPT 2375L, OPT 2500, OPT 2800L and OPT 2801L. Corequisites: OPT 2350 and OPT 2940. The theory and terminology of visual and systemic disorders that affect vision will be presented. Systemic disease with ocular manifestations will be discussed in detail, and the specific ocular problems presented. Disorders that may occur in various parts of the eye and ocular adnea are discussed. The student will become familiar with diagnostic and therapeutic pharmaceutical agents used in vision care.
