Prerequisites: OPT 1110, OPT 1210, OPT 1330, OPT 1150, OPT 2090, OPT 2222, OPT 2375, OPT 2375L, OPT 2500, OPT 2800L and OPT 2801L. Corequisites: OPT 2940 and OPT 2223. This course introduces the ophthalmic technician student to the theory and terminology of advanced diagnostic testing performed in the ophthalmic practice. Students will develop competencies in tonometry, formal visual field testing, external ocular photography, slit lamp examination, and other examination techniques. Three contact hours. A.S., A.A.S.
