AER 1007 Introduction to Automotive Technology — 3 Credit Hours

This course explores the automotive industry today, the changes in the industry and the advanced technology used in todays vehicles. Information is provided on career opportunities, job classification, ASE Certification, safety in the automotive shop, and electronic service information systems. In addition, GM-ASEP students will include GM specific instruction based on GM-STG - course number 10015.00 Introduction to Windows and course number 10016.00 Introduction to Electronic Service Information will be covered. Four contact hours: three lecture hours, one laboratory hour. A.S., A.A.S.
