Prerequisite: AER 1353. This course is designed with knowledge-based, performance-based and intern-based skills identified as standards for the automotive industry. Topics will include theory, operation and repair of todays automotive lighting systems. Performance skills include the diagnosis and repair of lighting system components and circuit faults using systematic diagnosis skills. The knowledge skills represent theory of the topics and support the mastery of the performance-based skills for this topic. Twenty-two and one-half contact hours: fifteen lecture hours, seven and one-half laboratory hours. A.S., A.A.S.
