Prerequisite: AER 2505. This course is designed with knowledge-based, performance-based and intern-based skills identified as standards for the automotive industry. Topics will include theory, operation and diagnosis of carbureted and fuel injection systems. Performance skills include the operation and adjustments of carbureted and diagnostics of todays electronic fuel injection systems. The knowledge skills represent theory of the topics and support the mastery of the performance-based skills for this topic. Twenty-two and one-half contact hours: fifteen lecture hours, seven and one-half laboratory hours. A.S., A.A.S.
