Prerequisite: AER 2529. This course is designed with knowledge-based, performance-based and intern-based skills identified as standards for the automotive industry. Topics will include theory, operation and diagnostics of General Motors specific computer engine management systems. Performance skills include the systematic diagnostic routines required to diagnose, repair and update General Motors computer management systems. The knowledge skills represent theory of the topics and support the mastery of the performance-based skills for this topic. Twenty-two and one-half contact hours: fifteen lecture hours, seven and one-half laboratory hours. A.S., A.A.S.
